Well, hi there!

The first thing you should know is that my love of travel is deep — whether for business, with friends and family, and especially - cue Celine Dion - all by myself.

In early 2025, I took a leap. I’m taking my love of travel, love of organizing, love of helping people, and rolling it all up into a new venture. In March, I officially opened for business as a Certified Travel Agent with Fora Travel. So, with great (imaginary fanfare) welcome to MPKO Travels.

The first question is, “who is MPKO anyway?” I’m native Californian, mom of three (or five if you count the husband and the puppy), long-time career boss lady, avid reader, New York Times crossword doer, and a travel lover - especially when those journeys involve live music or sports, champagne toasts, and fabulous hotels. My true loves are my children, the ocean, and a perfect vodka martini with blue cheese and horseradish olives.

More importantly for you, I’m an obsessive researcher, kinda bossy, and a diehard planner who is trying to use her powers for good.

FACT: Getting things done is my superpower.

I love losing myself in new exploring new destinations and finding the perfect combination of exploration, relaxation, adventure, luxury and value.

I've learned A LOT in my 30 years of planning travel, destinations and experiences for corporate executives (who expected a certain level of mind-reading - and a surprising level of hand-holding) and my 20 years of planning trips and vacations for my family (who want VERY different things out of our travels - and also require a senior executive level of hand-holding). Unrelated (ahem) I have have DEEP LOVE of traveling solo ;)
